Today’s Edition

You are enough, as you are.
You are worthy, as you are.
You are wonderful, as you are.
Don’t let the world gaslight you into believing differently.
You’ve got this!!

Monday Healing Moment: Making Peace With Imperfection
Happy Monday 💛 Let’s begin this week by softening around the idea that you must do everything perfectly.
Take a slow breath in. And a slow breath out. Let yourself arrive here exactly as you are.
Use your breath as a support, breathing in to make space for new energy, exhaling to let go. As you breathe, imagine setting down the exhausting pressure to get everything right all the time. To say the perfect thing. Make the perfect choice. Handle everything perfectly.
Releasing, even a little, the need to be… perfectly healed, perfectly productive, perfectly composed.
Perfection asks us to be machines. But you were never meant to be one. You are human. Beautifully, deeply human. And you deserve the grace to live fully in that humanness.
A part of being human is learning. Trying. Missing things sometimes. Growing through experience instead of avoiding it completely. Evolving, imperfectly.
Imagine what it would feel like to meet yourself with a little more compassion this week. To allow room for mistakes without turning them into proof that you are failing.
Imperfection does not make you unworthy. It makes you alive. And your life is precious.
The cracks in us are often where tenderness, wisdom, empathy, and authenticity grow.
As this week begins, let yourself release the need to perform flawless humanity.
Take one more slow breath. Let yourself soften into your own beautifully imperfect life.
You are allowed to be perfectly imperfect.
Love, Lola Graham

Want Stronger Bones? Do This.
Some people believe that bone loss and weakness are an inevitable part of aging. It isn't, at least not to the degree people assume. Your bones are living tissue that respond to the demands you place on them.
Resistance training is one of the most effective ways to keep them strong. Here's how it works. When you load a muscle against resistance, it pulls on the bone it's attached to. That mechanical stress signals your body to lay down new bone tissue, making the bone denser and stronger over time.
It's the same "use it or lose it" principle for muscle: when you challenge your bones, they get stronger; bones you don't use slowly weaken. Without stimulating your bones, bone density tends to decline with age, and low density is what leads to fractures, which can threaten independence later in life.
The key is meaningful load. Light, easy movement is good for you, but it doesn't stress the bones enough to trigger much adaptation. You need resistance that challenges you, whether that's weights, resistance bands, or difficult bodyweight movements. Weight-bearing and impact work like walking, jumping, and hopping help too.
✅ Action Step: Add two resistance sessions to your week, hitting the major muscle groups with a load that feels challenging by the last few reps. If you're new to it or have any bone concerns, start with guidance from a trainer or physio.
