You are a ray of light in a world that desperately needs more of what you have to offer. Take up space and let that light shine, my friend!

Marvel at the Everyday: Cultivating Awe in Daily Life
Hey Cutie, ever stop to think about how our brains are wired to adapt quickly, what once felt amazing can become “normal” all too fast? It means we often stop noticing the magic right in front of us, and frankly, it makes life a little boring. But, there’s hope: By intentionally practicing awe, we can shift out of autopilot, spark joy, and create feel-good emotions on demand. You don’t need to wait for vacation or do a life overhaul, you just need a willingness to see the “wow” in the ordinary.
✨ Why it matters
🌍 Awe interrupts negative mental loops and helps the brain build fresh, positive pathways.
💡 Feeling wonder boosts creativity, curiosity, and open-mindedness.
💖 Regular awe moments increase joy and life satisfaction—even in tough seasons.
🧘 Awe calms stress by helping the body anchor in the present moment.
🌟 How to practice awe daily
👀 Slow down and look closely: notice the details in a flower, the sky, or even your coffee steam rising.
🎶 Listen differently: tune in to the layers of a song or the rhythm of city sounds.
🪞 Shift perspective: imagine seeing your surroundings for the first time, as if you were a traveler in your own life.
✨ Collect mini-wows: write down or photograph one small thing each day that sparked wonder.
✅ Action Step: Today, pause for one minute and marvel at something right where you are, whether it’s the pattern of light on the wall, the colors in your lunch, or the sound of laughter. Let yourself feel the “wow.”
Ps. This isn’t delulu, we’re not denying that some things suck and need to change. It’s just using what we’ve got to be rebelliously bold about taking in the everyday amazingness in the world.

The Power of Omega-3
Omega-3 fatty acids are essential fats and play a key role in healthy aging and longevity.
Research consistently links higher blood levels of omega-3s (particularly EPA and DHA) with reduced risk of age-related diseases and even longer lifespan.
Key benefits of omega-3 include:
💖Supporting heart health by reducing triglycerides and blood pressure
🧠Protecting brain structure and function with age
👨⚕️Lowering chronic inflammation
💪Lowering joint stiffness
👁️Supporting eye health
👵Slowing age-related decline
Top sources of omega-3 (EPA & DHA):
Fatty fish: salmon, mackerel, sardines, anchovies, herring
Shellfish: mussels and oysters
Algae oil (a plant-based direct source of DHA and EPA)
It is important to know that plant sources of good omega-3, such as flax, chia, hemp, and walnuts, but the body converts only a small fraction of it (<10%) is converted into the more beneficial forms of EPA and DHA. For longevity, direct sources from fish or algae oil are best.
✅ Action Step: Eat at least 1 serving of fish high in omega-3s each week. If you don’t eat fish, look into supplementing with algae oil.

Today’s Mental and Emotional Workout:
Repetition creates new neural pathways, just like physical reps build muscle, mental reps build emotional strength.

Your feelings are data, not dictators. You get to decide the action that follows.

📖Journal Prompt:
Building a Caring Relationship with Yourself
What’s a dream I’ve put aside that I’d like to revisit? How can I adapt the dream (ex. into baby steps) or adapt my life to make space for it?
🌟Spark of Joy:
Let Little Things Move You
Touch something soft — like when your fingers sink into a warm pile of laundry.
🦋Weekly Connection Challenge:
Kindness Creates Ripples
Compliment a Stranger 🌱
Offer a genuine compliment to someone you don’t know once a day this week (in a shop, on a walk, or online). Mini positive connections uplift you and the receiver, making the world a more friendly place.

Rebuilding Self-Trust: Small Actions to Show You’ve Got Your Own Back
Trauma can damage your sense of trust in yourself. This week is about rebuilding it step by step and reclaiming your power.
Day 1: How Self-Trust Can Get Damaged With Trauma
A key characteristic of trauma is experiencing a loss of personal power during the event. This can be an inability to control what’s happening and our system feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope.
😪This can result in a sustained feeling of ‘loss of personal power’ which many trauma survivors feel as a decrease in self-trust and self-belief.
🫣Trauma can make you doubt your instincts or second-guess choices.
😳Between a desire to understand how the trauma could have been avoided and a lack of understanding from the general population, it can be easy for trauma survivors to get stuck in a victim-blaming narrative.
🫠Trauma’s effect on the nervous system can lead to difficulty with decision making, anxiety, and other feelings that result in lowered self-trust.
The good news: Self-trust is something you can strengthen and regain. Each day this week we’ll cover new techniques that can help.
Darling, don’t give up on yourself, you’re so worth it. Sending love 💕
