๐ŸŒผ Monday Healing Moment: A Lighter Way to Move Through This Week

Happy Monday ๐Ÿ’› What if this week didnโ€™t have to feel so serious?

Take a slow breath in. And a soft breath out.
Let yourself land here, just for a moment. This moment belongs to you.

Now imagine this week in front of you, not as something heavy or demanding, but as something a little more open. A space you get to move through, not just push through.ย

A week that is lined with threads of joy, lightness, love. There for you to find if only you pause to look.

Take a light and playful breath. Let your mind linger for a moment on the question: What if I approached this week with a bit more curiosity than pressure? What would that feel like?

It might feel like the realization that you donโ€™t have to do everything perfectly. To experience life is an accomplishment on its own.

It might feel like an inner knowing that you donโ€™t have to โ€œget it all rightโ€ because your path is uniquely yours.

It might feel like permission: Youโ€™re allowed to try, adjust, pause, and begin again. Youโ€™re allowed to exist, authentically and even a little messy.

Let yourself hold this week a little more loosely. Ebb and flow with the rhythm of life.

Feel yourself making room for small moments of joy.
Moments of laughter.
Moments where you donโ€™t take everything so seriously.

Life is still real. Responsibilities are still there.
But your way of moving through them can be softer. Lighter. Honouring your humanity.

Take one more slow breath. Lightening with your exhale.

Youโ€™re allowed to move through this week with a little more ease.

Love, Lola Graham

How Gratitude Impacts
Your Well-being:

Gratitude is an immensely powerful feeling and one that can help to boost your well-being as it is strongly associated with greater happiness, helping people feel more positive emotions, improve health, it can also help you deal with adversity, and build stronger relationships.

Research has found that developing feelings of gratitude and performing acts of gratitude are linked to greater life satisfaction, better mental health, and fewer symptoms of anxiety and depression, along with more positive emotions, greater optimism, and more prosocial behaviour.ย

Here are two simple practices that can help bring more gratitude into your life:

  1. Write down three things that youโ€™re grateful for each day

  2. Express gratitude to someone in your life each day. If they arenโ€™t there physically, then send them a text, a small gift or give them a call.

โœ… Action Step: Write down on a piece of paper or on a note in your phone, 3 things you are grateful for. Make sure you consciously feel the gratitude for these things.
