Today’s Edition

Thank you for being here on this earth with us today. Your energy and vibes make this world a more special experience for us all ♥️. Keep being you, you magnificent being!

Soothing Touch: Self-Compassion in Action
Sometimes compassionate words can be tricky to find or fall flat. Now don’t get me wrong, I love affirmative kind self-talk but physical touch is named as a love language for a reason - it can speak to our heart, mind, body, and spirit in its own special way. Gentle self-touch, like placing a hand on your heart or giving yourself a small self-hug, signals safety to your nervous system. This simple practice helps calm stress and deepen self-kindness.
Why it matters: provides comfort even without words, can activate the body’s soothing system & help regulate anxiety/stress.
🌟 How to practice soothing touch
🤲 Place one hand on your heart, feeling a transfer of care.
🙆 Wrap your arms around yourself in a self-hug.
✋ Rub your arms or hands gently as a grounding gesture.
🧘 Pair touch with slow breathing for extra calm.
🦋Try a butterfly tap but crossing your arms over your chest and rotate gentle taps.
✅ Action Step: Today, choose 1 practice and take 1 minute to let yourself feel comforted by your own touch.

🍎🫁Fruit for Lung health?!
A recent study (P. Kaewsri, et al. 2025) found that a healthy diet, particularly high in fruits and vegetables, is linked to better lung function.
This is important because it is estimated that over 90% of the global population is exposed to air pollution levels that exceed the WHO guidelines, and research shows that exposure to these higher air pollution levels is associated with a reduction in lung function.
They looked at the data of over 200,000 people and found that those who consumer four portions of fruit a day appeared to have smaller reduction in lung function compared to those who consumed less. The benefits were seen in both in men and women but were more pronounced for women.
This is probably due to the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds that are naturally present in fruit, which can help offset oxidative damage and inflammation caused by air pollution.
The takeaway… another reason to eat a healthy diet!
✅Action Step: See if you can integrate more fruit and vegetables at each of your meals. Can you make half your plate or more fruits and vegetables?

Reframing Triggers: From Overwhelm to Information
Triggers can feel like setbacks, but they’re not proof you’re broken, they’re signals from your nervous system. This week reframes triggers as information, giving you tools to respond with compassion and grounding instead of shame.
Day 4: Reframing Triggers as Information
Instead of shame, approach triggers with curiosity and kindness.
(Note: if you’ve been using shame for a long time, you might not be able to turn it off like a light switch; so, start by inviting kindness to come along too and gently nudge shame out of the driver’s seat to start creating an alternate pathway forward.)
🕵️ Ask: “What is this reaction trying to tell me?” “What do I need in this moment?”
🧩 Triggers highlight areas where care is needed. The trigger can prompt you to explore what that looks like. “How can I show care to myself at this moment?”
🛑 They also signal what boundaries or supports may be necessary.
🌟 Each trigger is not failure, it’s data that helps you understand yourself better.
🧡Showing up for yourself with compassion helps to build safety and creates room for new patterns to emerge.
Darling, don’t give up on yourself, you’re so worth it. Sending love 💕

Withholding love from yourself won’t speed growth; it slows it and stings. Offer warmth now and watch change take root.
