Leading with Your Heart: Authentic Alignment

Babe, what’s your heart been saying? When we’re pulled by outside expectations or worries, it’s easy to lose touch with what feels true to us. When we lose touch with our authenticity, our heart led life, it’s easy for anxiety to mount, for exhaustion and burnout to show up, and life can feel uninspired. Learning to tune into your heart can help you reconnect with authenticity, guiding choices that feel aligned instead of forced. Heart-led moments don’t have to be big, they can be small pauses where you check in with what matters most.

Why it matters: Brings clarity, strengthens authenticity & self trust, and reduces stress by connecting us to our truth.

🌟 How to tune in to your heart

  • 🫀 Pause and place a hand on your heart; notice your breath.

  • 📝 Ask: “If my heart could speak, what would it want right now?”

  • 🎶 Listen to music that helps you connect emotionally.

  • 🌳 Try a brief meditation focused on warmth or gratitude in your chest.

  • 😘 If you can’t find your heart’s voice (yet), try to tune into a feeling, a push or pull, or even a single word. Imagine each time you return as slowly tuning an old radio for better and better reception

Action Step: Take 2 minutes today to pause, hand over heart, and ask yourself: “What feels most true for me right now?”

Powerful Panthotenic Acid

Pantothenic acid is also known as vitamin B5 and is one of the eight essential B vitamins. It helps your body convert carbohydrates, fats, and proteins into usable energy.

Vitamin B5 also supports many vital processes, including producing hormones, especially cortisol, which helps your body respond to stress. Adequate levels of B5 can support a more balanced stress response and greater resilience under pressure. It also helps form red blood cells, supports the nervous system, and contributes to healthy skin, hair, and digestion.

While deficiencies are relatively rare, low levels can cause fatigue, irritability, headaches, digestive upset, and tingling sensations in the hands and feet.

Good sources of B5:

Organ meats (liver and kidney), chicken, beef, eggs, yogurt, lentils, mushrooms, sunflower seeds, sweet potatoes, avocados, whole grains and broccoli.

Action Step: Eat some foods high in B5!

Releasing Shame: Loosening Trauma’s Grip

Shame convinces us that we are the problem, when in truth the harm never belonged to us. This week, we’ll gently challenge shame’s grip and begin to reclaim your worth and truth.

Day 1: Understanding Shame and Trauma
Shame thrives in silence and secrecy. Unlike guilt (about what you did), shame is about who you believe you are. Trauma often plants seeds of shame because of powerlessness, isolation, or harmful messages absorbed afterward.

  • 🫣 Trauma can distort your self-perception, convincing you “something is wrong with me.”

  • 📉 Shame shrinks your sense of worth and belonging.

  • 💔 Unlike guilt, which can lead to repair, shame freezes healing.

  • 🌱 Naming shame is the first step in loosening its grip.

Darling, don’t give up on yourself, you’re so worth it. Sending love 💕

Perfect doesn’t exist. Don’t chase a standard no one can reach. Don’t erase your uniqueness in the name of perfection. That illusion keeps us stuck, stops us from starting, and hides the wonder already in our lives.

📖Journal Prompt:
Building a Caring Relationship with Yourself

What are some of the ways you love to express yourself and why do they help you feel like yourself? (ex. style, humour, art, etc.)
